Delivering a New Visual Identity: How We Helped RRGR MYEZSHIP EXPRESS JA Stand Out in a Crowded Logistics Market
Introduction
RRGR MYEZSHIP EXPRESS JA is a logistics and shipping company operating in St. Ann, Jamaica. They provide a range of services including online purchase, package tracking, and delivery. I was approached to create a brand identity that would encompass the company’s niche and help them stand out in their market.
The goal of the project was to create a consistent visual system and a logo that would be versatile and unique, while still effectively communicating that the company shipped big and small packages and was safe and reliable.
Scope of work
I began the project by conducting extensive research into the shipping and logistics industry in Jamaica. Based on this research, I developed a visual system that would be consistent across all of RRGR MYEZSHIP EXPRESS JA’s marketing materials.
One of the biggest challenges during the project was coming up with a single icon to represent the brand. I wanted to create a mark that was versatile and unique, but still conveyed the idea of shipping big and small packages in a safe and reliable manner.
Creative process
The creative process began with sketching and mood boarding in order to get rough ideas down on paper. I then took the rough drafts into Illustrator for further exploration. From there, I presented the client with two preferred options, along with mockups of how the logo would reside on branded materials.
The final logo design featured a bold, sans-serif font in green, with an icon that represented a package in transit. The icon was designed to be versatile and could be used on its own or in conjunction with the company’s name.
Results
The new brand identity helped RRGR MYEZSHIP EXPRESS JA promote themselves to their target audience in their area with flyers, banners, and posted signs as well as a new website done by Genius Digital Commerce. The new visual system was consistent across all materials and helped establish the company as a safe and reliable option for shipping and logistics services.
Conclusion
We successfully achieved the goals of the project by creating a consistent visual system and a unique logo that effectively communicated RRGR MYEZSHIP EXPRESS JA’s brand values. The new brand identity helped establish the company as a safe and reliable option for shipping and logistics services in St. Ann, Jamaica.
