Introduction
Pass the Hookah Ja is a hookah rental and sales brand operating in Jamaica. They provide hookah services at various events and wanted a logo that would capture the essence of their brand and products.
The goal of the project was to find a unique and visually representative way to portray the brand, Pass the Hookah Ja, in a clear and direct manner while staying true to the slogan ‘We bring the smoke’.
Scope of work
The scope of the work entailed creating a primary logo along with its supporting secondary and tertiary variants. The main challenge was to come up with a concept that visually represented the brand’s hookah product while maintaining a creative and distinctive approach.
Creative process
To stimulate creativity and explore various visual possibilities, a mood board was created. It included images of different shapes of hookahs, noses, and clouds of smoke. The imagery from the mood board led to the final concept of a nose-shaped hookah exhaling smoke, which was unique, visually interesting, and aligned with the brand’s identity and slogan.
Results
The resulting logo captured the brand’s essence and was rolled out across various promotional materials. Pass the Hookah Ja has become a prominent presence at events in Jamaica, offering their hookah rental services and sales.
